Properties and Uses:
Poison antidote, female hormone, lowers blood pressure, promotes normal hair growth, antispasmodic, sedative, alternative, support adrenal gland function, meningitis, allergic reactions.

BODILY INFLUENCES:
As a poison antidote, Black Cohosh has several useful functions. Its regular use, and use in crisis, can prevent allergic reactions and correct allergic reactions of stings and bites of poisonous creatures of all kinds (bees, mosquitoes, spiders, snakes, etc.). Also can be used as a poison antidote to prevent colds and childhood illnesses or clear them up. Black Cohosh absorbs and neutralizes the poisons of disease so the body can heal itself. This is of special importance with internal poisons from cysts, fistulas, boils, carbuncles and acne. Menopause and its tortures and many widespread female problems are handled routinely by Black Cohosh. The action of Black Cohosh on the circulatory system is to slow the heartbeat and strengthen its output as well as increase the pulse strength. At the same time, it acts as an arterial and nerve sedative which is most important to reduce hypertension (nerve-induced high blood pressure) and far safer than Digitalis. Virginia Snake Root

This herb was hunted almost to extinction by the demand of early U.S. practitioners. Its use was first learned from the American “Indians” in the desperate struggle to survive in the “new world”. Persistent rumors of near miraculous recoveries among European settlers treated by “Indians” proved to have substance in actual fact. U.S. practitioners used Virginia Snake Root. “Indian” suppliers found it very difficult to locate new supplies for them. Virginia Snake Root neutralizes poisons of many kinds, including: snakebites, mosquito bites, spider bites, bee, wasp and scorpion stings, as well as poisons that build up through intemperate living and depravation. When a person is ill, there are poisons in the body. As the daily activities of living take place in the body, waste material builds up. Add to this poisons, which are given off from germs, viruses, fungi, etc. that may be living in the body. They build up and a person gets sick. Virginia Snake Root immediately neutralizes these poisons. (One way to tell if Virginia Snake Root is needed is to take a few drops and see if you feel better within seconds or minutes.) In this way, the body gets a reprieve and gains valuable time to eliminate through bowel, urine, lungs and skin. At this time, if needed to assist Virginia Snake Root in its work, give herbs that can increase bowel movements (or an enema daily, as needed). Virginia Snake Root loosens lung mucous, increases urinary flow and induces sweating to complete poison elimination. Additionally, herbs can be given to provide strength and nutrients. (See: Formula Max, Formula M, and Liquid Bee Pollen). Then the person gets well. Virginia Snake Root has a wide variety of applications with fevers, poisonous bites and stings. Take 40 to 80 drops at once, internally, and apply liberally to the bite area. Repeat any time the area starts to hurt. Throat and kidney infections, even where tissue is destroyed, are corrected. Vital forces and nerves are restored. Arterial flow of blood is increased to the hands, feet and skin, and the body warms up. The heartbeat is fuller, stronger and blood circulates better. Here is help, especially for the exhausted and depressed case in the latter stages of fevers or pneumonia. Convalescence from colds and other recent “flare ups” are also securely guided to recovery.

DOSAGE: 20 to 40 drops, on or under the tongue, three to four times per day, as needed. In emergency situations, such as bee, wasp, scorpion stings or spider bites, 40 to 80 drops immediately, and repeat anytime the area starts to hurt. In snakebites, ½ to 1 full ounce is given immediately, internally, and thereafter, as needed, any time the area starts to hurt, as well as liberal external applications.

Ol' Number 11

This formula is used to repair or strengthen any type of brain, nerve, flesh, cartilage or muscle injury or weakness. If you cannot work on the area directly, then take Ol' Number 11 internally. Take 40 to 80 drops three times per day for repair or adding strength to the body. For serious injury, you can work on the area directly. One very successful procedure is as an overnight application.

Apply several things directly to the area externally. Apply the herb, Arnica (or Arnica Oil Blend) directly to the skin of the area or around the site to get the physical shock out of the area. In this way, the injury can heal rapidly. Next, apply Vitamin E from 100 iu capsules to improve the action of oxygen for repair and to prevent irritation if you have very sensitive skin. At this point, apply externally, either Peppermint Oil or Oil of Cajeput and Herbal Adjustment and then Formula #4. This relieves pain and improves the circulation in the area to be repaired. Next, soak a single layer of natural fiber cheese cloth or absorbent gauze with Ol' Number 11. Wrap this cloth, soaked with Ol' Number 11, around the injured area and cover it with plastic sandwich wrap. Then, wrap a cloth around all to hold in place for overnight. The next morning, remove the application and discard. Wash the area and allow to dry. (Never reuse the application, as this thermal and moisture barrier application also draws out poisons through the skin, as well as driving the repair herbs internally.) Repeat the application procedure for the daytime. Continue with an application for the day and night until well.

As an aftershave, to baby the skin and make it smooth and soft, apply a few drops of the Arnica or Arnica Oil Blend followed by a generous amount of Ol' #11.

COMBINATION: White Oak Bark, Marshmallow, Mullein, Mugwort, Indian Tobacco, Scullcap, Knitbone, Black Walnut Hull, Gravel Root.

DOSAGE: For internal use, 40 to 80 drops, after meals and as directed above. For external use, soak a cotton ball with Ol' Number 11 and apply to the injury three to four times per day.

Comfrey (Knitbone)

PROPERTIES AND USES: External and internal damage to body, contact corrective, cell proliferant, nutritive, valuable source of organic Calcium. Corrects Poison Ivy and Poison Oak.

BODILY INFLUENCES: Old bones, broken bones and old flesh and damaged flesh are replaced with new by virtue of the fact that Comfrey feeds only the best body cells and encourages thorough, rapid growth of healthy new cells, hence its title of Acellular proliferant@.

RED CLOVER BLENDED

Cancer is not normal and can be overcome and prevented! You need not live with the fear of this condition of "bad cells". There is hope, and here is one answer to cancer. This dissolves cancers and tumors, is a blood cleaner and corrects leukemia. It also cleans bone marrow. Take as a preventative.

Red Clover Blended is taken internally; and one very successful procedure to speed up its activity is the use of Red Clover Blended externally.

Work in this manner: Each night, apply Vitamin E from 100 i.u. capsules (International Unit which is a measure of liquid vitamins) to the area as an oxygen extender. ("Bad Cells" and tumors cannot exist in areas of good oxygenation). Then apply Oil of Cajeput (decongestant and pain reliever). Next, apply Herbal Adjustment (increases circulation and pain reliever). Then, soak a single layer of cheesecloth or absorbent gauze with Red Clover Blended and wrap this around, or place over, the area to be corrected. Cover this with plastic sandwich wrap to form a thermal and moisture barrier and drive the herbs into the area, while pulling poisons out through the skin. In the morning, remove and discard the application. Wash the area and allow to dry. Then repeat the application procedure for the daytime, just as you did for the nighttime. Repeat in this fashion until well.

UNA DE GATO

UNA DE GATO means Claw-of-Cat (Cat’s Claw). In the remote area of Iquitos, Peru, where Una de Gato is at home, it is very widely used and depended upon to handle a wide variety of problems, including those of a serious nature. Una de Gato is the bark of the jungle and highland dwelling vines of the two plant species, Unicaria quianensis and Unicaria tomentosa. These are the only two species represented throughout South America. The curled projection, or “claw”, that the vine puts out to help it climb into the trees, gives Una de Gato its common name, Cat’s Claw. Because of the remoteness of the area where it is at home, in North America we did not know of its long and accepted uses until later in the 20th century. Thanks to the American researcher, Nicole Maxwell, and her over 30 years of dedicated field research and living with and observing the native use of these and other botanicals, we have first-hand information based on observation and experience from the jungle areas of Peru regarding the use of Unicaria quianensis and Unicaria tomentosa. Both are good. The preferred species she recommends as a first choice, however, is the quianensis. Additionally, German and French sources, and users there, have shared their enthusiastic results, and simply cannot be silenced in their wholehearted endorsement of the tomentosa species of Una de Gato. In more enlightened and tolerant areas of the world, such as Peru, where freedom of speech regarding herbs and Folk Medicine is an accepted and appreciated fact, sellers of herbs must put the traditional and accepted uses on the side of the herb package. Unlike North America, where you are not even allowed to claim that an herb is “high fiber” or “low fat” or “low sodium” without a scientist saying you can, and that after a very expensive and lengthy process of proof which may cost as much as 200 million dollars to make such a “sweeping claim”.

Take to correct: Arthritis, Rheumatism, Cancer, Gastritis, Irregularities of the Female Cycle

From all reports, this is one of the South American Indians’ very best arthritis remedies. Although it is not scientifically accepted, people there use it and get rid of their arthritis, including the type we call rheumatoid arthritis, where the body is actually fighting itself. Una de Gato is also especially noted for its anti-viral properties, tumor dissolving properties, its effects on cellular regeneration and cardiovascular repair. As in all jungle areas, one of the things which must be guarded against is infection. Una de Gato is a potent immune system builder. This is especially important in conditions described as rheumatoid arthritis and/or osteoarthritis, where the body is attacking itself, commonly called auto-immune reactions. Una de Gato reestablishes the proper immune system orientation for cells that are “true friends” and those that are the actual foes. A strong immune system is essential to reversing the effects, and prevention, of any kind of disease. Hence, a wide range of disorders are reported to be corrected by the use of Una de Gato in Peru and Europe. Very well documented South American medical information shows Una de Gato to be nearly miraculous in combating cancer — even in advanced stages where as much as 10% of the body cells are in a state of metastasis. Because of the shared reputation Una de Gato has earned for itself, no immune problem or cancer is regarded, in Peru, as “incurable”.

DOSAGE: 40 drops three times per day to maintain immunity. For disease conditions listed above, 1 teaspoon to 1 Tablespoon three times per day.

With the use of Una de Gato, as with any herb which destroys bad cells, do USE A GOOD BOWEL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM which produces 2 and preferably 3, easy and complete, bowel movements per day. In this manner, the wastes and poisons the body is getting rid of, can be eliminated from the body and nausea is prevented. This allows the body to clean itself up and to get well. Common sense and good sense demand that you eliminate anything from the diet and the environment which is a poison. A good place to start, regarding what you eat is any food with any kind of chemical additives such as: chemical dyes, preservatives, flavor magnifiers, stabilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and the like.
