Candida

Can.-Sol  is available as a liquid herbal extract.  Candidiasis is an infection caused by strains of the yeast, the most common being Candida Albicans. Candida is normally present in the digestive tract and the vagina. During certain favorable conditions such as warm, humid weather or when an individual's immune system is impaired, the yeast can infect the skin. Mucous membranes in the mouth and vagina are commonly infected. In rare instances, Candida can invade blood and deeper tissues, causing life-threatening infection.

• For blockages in the heart due to high cholesterol, take one teaspoon of RICE BRAN extract three times per day so that the liver can produce sufficient quantities of its own lecithin.
• Take 40 to 80 drops of FLAX SEED extract three times per day. For further information on Cholesterol, please see the Cholesterol newsletter.
• If the heart has had “by-pass” surgery, or other surgery done to it, take the following:
  • 40 to 80 drops of CHESTNUT LEAF three times per day to repair damage to blood vessels.
  • Take 10 drops of HEART TONIC (HTC) twice a day for the first week, and then take 20 drops twice per day thereafter.
  • Take 40 drops of BUGLEWEED three times per day to strengthen the heart and blood vessels.
  • Take 40 drops of OCM three times per day to clean any debris out of the blood vessels. (This may be increased to 80 drops if necessary.)
  • Take 40 to 80 drops of UNA DE GATO three times per day.
  • Optional: Take 80 drops to one teaspoon of Ol’ #11 three times per day.

• Apply ARNICA over the area of the heart once per day.
• For general supplementation of the body, take the following:

  • Take 40 drops to one teaspoon of FORMULA 3 three times per day to supplement the adrenal glands.
  • Take 40 drops of GENTIAN with each meal (and 10 to 20 drops with any snack or non-extract supplement) as a digestaid.

SOME SYMPTOMS:
Shortness of breath - The best known symptom of heart failure is probably "dyspnea," or, shortness of breath. This may result from excess fluid in the lungs. Breathing difficulties may occur at rest or during exercise. In some cases, congestion may be severe enough to prevent or interrupt sleep.
Tiredness - As the heart's pumping capacity decreases, muscles and other tissues receive less of the oxygen and nutrition which are carried in the blood. Without proper "fuel," the body cannot perform as much work. This is felt as fatigue.
Swelling - Fluid may accumulate causing swelling of the feet, ankles, legs and, sometimes, the abdomen. Excess fluid retained by the body may result in weight gain that can occur fairly rapidly.
Persistent coughing - Some people cough up mucus or pink sputum. There may be raspy breathing or wheezing.
